Who we are
darsda ("we", "us") builds educational products, including the darsda Cards flashcard app, available on the web and on Android. This policy explains what we collect when you use our products and what we do with it.
If you have any question about this policy, write to us at support@darsda.uz.
What we collect
Account information. If you create an account, we store the email address or sign-in identifier you register with, and a display name if you provide one. We need this to keep your decks attached to you across devices.
Your learning content. The decks and cards you create, and your review history — which cards you answered, when, and how well. This is what makes spaced repetition work; without it the app cannot schedule your reviews.
Technical information. Basic technical data sent by your device or browser: device type, operating system version, app version, and error reports when something crashes. We use this to fix problems.
We do not collect your contacts, your location, your photos, or the contents of other apps on your device.
Why we use it
- To provide the product: store your decks, sync them across devices, and schedule your reviews.
- To keep your account secure and prevent abuse.
- To diagnose crashes and fix defects.
- To contact you about the service when it matters — a security issue, or a significant change to these terms.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use your learning content to advertise to you.
Children
Our products may be used by students under 18. We do not knowingly collect more information from a child than from any other user, and we do not build advertising profiles. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has provided us information you would like removed, write to support@darsda.uz and we will delete it.
How long we keep it
We keep your account and learning content for as long as your account exists. If you delete your account, we delete your decks, review history and account record within 30 days, except where we are required to keep something by law.
Crash and error logs are kept for a limited period and then discarded.
Who else sees it
We use third-party infrastructure providers to run our products — principally Google Cloud Platform, which hosts our servers and databases, and Google Play for distribution of the Android app. These providers process data on our instructions in order to deliver the service.
We disclose personal data to anyone else only where the law requires it.
Your rights
You can:
- Access the data we hold about you.
- Correct it if it is wrong.
- Delete your account and the data attached to it.
- Export your decks.
To exercise any of these, write to support@darsda.uz. We will respond within 30 days.
Security
We use encrypted connections (HTTPS) for all traffic between your device and our servers, and we restrict internal access to personal data to the people who need it. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy in a way that materially affects you, we will make the updated version available here and, where the change is significant, notify you in the app.
